This page identifies third-party technology and data for which a public licence notice or attribution is relevant. It is not a technical inventory of the Service.
1. Swiss Ephemeris
Planetary Hours uses Swiss Ephemeris for astronomical calculations. Its use in the Service is authorised under a Swiss Ephemeris Professional License held by the operator.
The Professional License authorises the operator’s use of Swiss Ephemeris in Planetary Hours. It does not transfer ownership or grant users a standalone licence to the Swiss Ephemeris software or data files. Permitted use of individual results generated through the Service is governed by the Terms of Use. All rights in Swiss Ephemeris and its associated materials remain with their respective rights holders.
2. Location Data
Place search and reverse-geocoding functionality is provided using Geoapify.
Location data made available through the Service includes data from OpenStreetMap: © OpenStreetMap contributors. OpenStreetMap data is made available under the Open Database License.
3. Fonts
Glyphs are drawn with subsets of two fonts. Noto Sans Symbols 2 is © The Noto Project Authors and is licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; the licence text ships with the font at /static/fonts/OFL.txt. Symbola (version 9.00, George Douros) was published with the terms “Fonts in this site are free for any use”, which the shipped subset preserves in its own metadata.
4. Other Third-Party Notices
Where software or other material included in the Service requires reproduction of a copyright notice or licence text, the applicable notice is provided with that material or in the Third-party notices.
Nothing on this page grants rights beyond those expressly granted by the applicable licence or rights holder.
