Terms of Use
Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. Operator and Scope
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of PlanetaryHours.io, including its public tools, user accounts, saved content, paid features and support services (collectively, the “Service”).
Planetary Hours is a product and brand operated by Vladyslav Babii, a sole proprietor trading as taburetka.
Product and account support: [email protected]
Legal correspondence: [email protected]
Additional operator information is available in the Imprint.
You may save or print a copy of these Terms.
2. Services
Planetary Hours provides digital tools and information relating to planetary hours, astrological charts, electional astrology, astronomical and astrological timing, planetary and lunar conditions and related research.
The Service may include:
- public information and calculation tools available without an account;
- account registration and authentication;
- account preferences and saved windows;
- free account functionality;
- paid Planetary Hours Plus functionality;
- product and account support.
The current features of each plan are described on the Pricing page and within the Service.
Astrological systems, calculation settings and available features may differ according to the options selected by the user.
3. Technical Requirements and Risks
Use of the Service requires:
- an internet connection;
- a reasonably current web browser supporting secure HTTPS connections, HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
- JavaScript, session cookies and local browser storage where required by the relevant feature;
- a valid email address for account functionality.
Disabling required browser functionality may prevent parts of the Service from working correctly.
Users are responsible for their own device, internet connection and any charges imposed by their communications provider.
Use of internet services involves ordinary risks including malicious software, phishing and unauthorised access. Users should keep their browser and operating system current and protect their authentication credentials.
4. Formation and Termination of Electronic Service Contracts
A contract for public electronic services is concluded when a user begins using an interactive Service feature after these Terms have been made available.
An account contract is concluded when registration is completed and the user accepts the applicable Terms and Privacy Policy.
Paid access begins after the purchase has been confirmed by Paddle and the corresponding entitlement has been activated for the account.
A user may end use of public services at any time by ceasing to use them.
An account contract continues until the account is deleted or terminated in accordance with these Terms, or deleted under Section 14 after six months without Plus. Deleting an account with a running subscription cancels the renewal at the end of the paid period; the account is deleted seven days after that period ends. A paused subscription, or one whose payment is still being collected, must first be cancelled.
Cancelling a subscription does not by itself delete the associated Planetary Hours account.
5. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to register. You may create an account or purchase a subscription only if you have the legal capacity to enter into the relevant agreement.
You must:
- provide accurate information where required;
- maintain access to the email address associated with your account;
- protect your login credentials;
- promptly notify [email protected] of suspected unauthorised account access;
- use the account only for yourself unless we expressly permit another arrangement.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account to the extent that the activity results from circumstances within your control.
Accounts may not be created through automated means without our permission.
We may delete a registration whose email address has not been confirmed within three days of the last confirmation email.
6. Paid Subscriptions and Paddle
Paid subscriptions are sold and processed through Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record and authorised reseller for the transaction.
The specific Paddle entity acting as seller, the subscription price, currency, applicable taxes, billing interval and renewal terms are shown at checkout.
The purchase transaction is governed by the applicable Paddle Buyer Terms. Paddle handles payment processing, recurring charges, transaction documentation, applicable transaction taxes, cancellations and refunds relating to the payment transaction.
Planetary Hours supplies, licenses and supports the Service purchased through Paddle. These Terms govern use of the Planetary Hours product.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing interval until cancelled.
A subscription may be cancelled through the Planetary Hours account area or through the cancellation method provided by Paddle. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, after which no further renewal charge should be made.
Withdrawal, cancellation and refund rights are described in the Refund Policy and the applicable Paddle Refund Policy.
Plus may also be granted free of charge for a specified period as a gift or promotion. Complimentary access does not renew automatically and may expire or be withdrawn. Its treatment is described in the Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
7. Licence to Use the Service
Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, Planetary Hours grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the Service for lawful personal or professional purposes.
Professional astrologers may use individual results generated through their lawful use of the Service when conducting their own research or providing services to their clients.
This permission does not allow you to:
- resell or sublicense access to the Service;
- share a paid account as a substitute for separate authorised access;
- reproduce or distribute substantial parts of the Service;
- systematically extract or redistribute its databases or structured output;
- operate a competing service using unlawfully extracted Planetary Hours content or data;
- remove copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices;
- reverse engineer protected components except where such restriction is prohibited by mandatory law.
No ownership of the Service or its underlying software is transferred to you.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not use the Service to:
- violate applicable law or the rights of another person;
- provide or store unlawful content;
- introduce malicious code;
- obtain unauthorised access to an account, system or network;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
- circumvent authentication, subscription restrictions or usage limits;
- perform unauthorised automated bulk requests or systematic scraping;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation with Planetary Hours;
- use another person’s payment method or account without authority;
- engage in fraud or other abusive activity.
Reasonable technical limits may be applied to protect the Service, its users and its infrastructure.
9. User Inputs and Saved Content
You retain any rights you have in information that you enter or save through the Service.
You grant Planetary Hours only the limited rights necessary to receive, process, store and transmit that information for the purposes of:
- providing the requested Service functionality;
- maintaining your account and saved content;
- securing and operating the Service;
- responding to support requests;
- complying with legal obligations.
You must have the right to provide any information you submit and must not use the Service to store content that is unlawful or infringes another person’s rights.
Saved content is subject to the plan active on your account and to the retention rule disclosed on the Pricing page and in the Privacy Policy. Saved windows are a Plus feature. When Plus access ends, Saved Windows become unavailable immediately. We retain them for 14 days so that access can be restored if Plus is reactivated. If Plus is not restored within that period, the Saved Windows are permanently deleted.
Personal-data processing is described separately in the Privacy Policy.
10. Astrological and Informational Disclaimer
Planetary Hours provides astrological and astronomical research and planning tools.
Astrology is interpretive. A planetary hour, chart, election, score, ranking or other result does not guarantee any future event or real-world outcome.
The Service does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, investment, tax or emergency advice. It should not be used as the sole basis for decisions requiring qualified professional advice or an assessment of health, safety, legal or financial risk.
You remain responsible for decisions made using information obtained from the Service.
11. Calculations and User Settings
We take reasonable care in providing the Service, but results depend on factors including:
- the date, time, location and other information entered by the user;
- selected astrological systems and calculation settings;
- time-zone and calendar information;
- differences between astrological traditions;
- software and data limitations.
Users should verify that their inputs and selected settings are appropriate for their intended use.
This section does not exclude statutory rights relating to the conformity of a digital service.
12. Availability and Changes to the Service
We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, security work, updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
A continuously supplied digital service may be modified where there is a valid reason, including:
- compliance with law, a regulatory requirement or a binding authority decision;
- protection of security, integrity or users;
- prevention of fraud, abuse or unauthorised access;
- maintenance of compatibility with browsers, devices or technical standards;
- adaptation to changes in data sources or necessary technical dependencies;
- maintenance of performance, reliability or capacity;
- improvement or replacement of functionality while preserving the Service’s principal purpose.
A modification will not create an additional charge unless the user separately agrees to purchase a different product or plan.
Where required by law, users will be informed clearly about a modification. If a modification materially and negatively affects a consumer’s access to or use of a continuously supplied digital service, the consumer will receive advance notice on a durable medium and may have the right to terminate the affected contract without charge.
Nothing in this section removes statutory remedies for failure to supply a conforming digital service.
13. Intellectual Property and Licences
Planetary Hours or its licensors own the rights in the original software, interface, branding, written content, graphics, documentation and original selection and arrangement of materials made available through the Service.
Planetary Hours does not claim ownership of astronomical facts, traditional astrological concepts or material that is in the public domain.
Third-party materials may be subject to separate terms. Required notices and applicable third-party licensing information are provided on the Licences page.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary because of:
- a material or repeated breach of these Terms;
- a security threat or suspected account compromise;
- fraudulent or unlawful activity;
- unauthorised automated extraction;
- non-payment or termination of the corresponding paid entitlement;
- a binding legal requirement;
- serious interference with the Service or other users.
We may also end the account contract and delete an account that has had no paid or granted Plus access for six continuous months, after the warning described in the Privacy Policy. Signing in does not change the date stated in that warning.
Measures will be proportionate to the circumstances. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.
Immediate action may be taken where delay could create a security risk, facilitate unlawful activity, compromise an investigation or cause material harm.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination. Any consumer rights concerning paid access, refunds or non-conforming digital services remain unaffected.
15. Complaints
Complaints concerning the Planetary Hours product, account access or operation of the Service may be submitted to [email protected]. No special complaint form is required.
A complaint should, where possible, identify:
- the account or email address concerned;
- the affected feature;
- the date or approximate time of the problem;
- a description of the problem;
- the remedy requested.
We may request additional information where it is reasonably necessary to investigate the complaint.
We will respond within any mandatory period that applies to the request. Otherwise, response time depends on the nature and complexity of the matter. The response will be provided by email or another durable medium.
Complaints concerning payment processing, Paddle charges, transaction documentation, subscription cancellation or refunds may also be submitted through Paddle Buyer Support.
Consumers retain the statutory remedies available for digital services that are not supplied or are not in conformity with the contract, including, where applicable, bringing the Service into conformity, a proportionate price reduction or termination of the affected contract.
After an unsuccessful complaint, a consumer may seek assistance from a competent consumer-protection body or an available alternative dispute-resolution entity. Our response to a rejected consumer complaint will state whether we agree or are required to participate in a particular out-of-court procedure.
16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be prohibited by law.
For consumers, our liability is determined by applicable mandatory law, including the rules governing conformity of digital services.
Planetary Hours is not responsible for a user’s independent decision or for an expected real-world outcome that did not occur because the user relied on an astrological interpretation.
For users acting exclusively for business or professional purposes, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Planetary Hours is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable;
- aggregate liability arising from a paid Service will not exceed the amount paid for the affected Service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These business-user limitations do not apply to intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
17. Privacy
Personal-data processing, account-data handling and the use of cookies or similar technologies are described in the Privacy Policy.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary to reflect:
- changes in law or regulatory requirements;
- security requirements;
- changes to the Service or subscription structure;
- new or modified functionality;
- changes required to keep the Terms accurate.
The current version will show its effective date.
Where required by law, material changes affecting an existing contract will be communicated in advance on a durable medium. Changes will not retroactively remove rights that have already accrued.
If a user does not accept a change that requires their agreement, they may stop using the Service or terminate the affected contract before the change takes effect, subject to any mandatory rights and the applicable subscription rules.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms do not designate an exclusive governing law or exclusive forum. The law and courts applicable to a dispute are determined by the mandatory rules that apply to the parties, the Service and the relevant transaction. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer or other right that cannot lawfully be waived.
Payment transactions made through Paddle are also subject to the governing-law and dispute provisions contained in the applicable Paddle Buyer Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
